Kpop: ALi (알리)

Cho Yong Jin, known as ALi, is a singer-songwriter who is known from a Idol program in Korea, and for her voice, reminds me several strong emotional voices I have heard before and deserves a lot of respect, more so after the Na Young song. A much written about rape case was to basis of the song and she was first critized for writing so openly about it so that in the end she felt she needed to disclose that she herself had been raped. Like in many countries, media and popular opinion still has a ways to go in its discription and condomenation of rape in Korea, which makes her stand all the more important and worth praising.
